Below you read what to look out for.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa53687 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"aa53687\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Which products does this concern?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bcece18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bcece18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory painkillers): ibuprofen (Advil, Nurofen), diclofenac (Voltaren), naproxen<\/li><li>Acetylsalicylic acid: also in low dosage as a &#8216;blood thinner&#8217;, but also in combination preparations for colds\/flu<\/li><li>Fish oil \/ omega-3 supplements<\/li><li>Ginkgo biloba<\/li><li>Vitamin E (in high doses)<\/li><li>Garlic supplements<\/li><li>Turmeric\/curcumin supplements in high dosage<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da40fd3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"da40fd3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Why is this relevant?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-75e2201 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"75e2201\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac and naproxen inhibit the action of blood platelets and can increase the bleeding risk during and after an eyelid correction. It is therefore advised to temporarily avoid these painkillers, if possible, around the procedure [1]. <\/p><p>Less well known is that certain freely available supplements such as fish oil, ginkgo biloba, vitamin E and garlic supplements can also increase the bleeding risk.
