In single-sided earlobe correction, we focus on repairing one earlobe that has been damaged, such as from an accident or wearing heavy earrings. This often happens when one earlobe is stressed more than the other, or due to uneven damage.
During the procedure, the plastic surgeon makes a small incision to correct the torn tissue. Then the skin is carefully sutured, returning the natural shape of the earlobe.
The procedure takes about 30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. After the procedure, you can go home immediately. The recovery process is short, with minimal pain and discomfort.
A double-sided earlobe correction is needed when both earlobes are torn or stretched, often from prolonged wear of heavy earrings or multiple holes. This can cause the earlobes to be uneven or prevent jewelry from being worn.
During this procedure, the plastic surgeon corrects both earlobes with small incisions, removing the old tissue. The skin is carefully sutured for a symmetrical and natural result.
The treatment usually takes about 60 minutes for both earlobes and is performed under local anesthesia. Again, you can go home immediately after the procedure and recovery time is short.

An earlobe correction is not performed if there are certain health risks that increase the risk of complications. For example, this may be the case if you are taking certain medications, such as blood thinners or drugs that negatively affect wound healing. Therefore, it is important to discuss your medical history and any medication use with the plastic surgeon before the procedure.
If you are in poor general health or have active infections in the ear or head area, it may also be better to postpone the procedure until you have fully recovered.

From the very first intake appointment, the treatment was perfect. Dr. Jairath is a very friendly and skilled doctor who works with great precision, resulting in a beautiful outcome! Fibroma removal
After doing a lot of research, I ended up choosing Klinik Het Bolwerk. I have quite a few moles on my face that I wanted to have removed. For me, it’s very important that this is done as beautifully as possible, cosmetically speaking. The procedure was done a little over two weeks ago, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the size of the scars. I can see that the doctor used the smallest possible method to remove my moles. I really appreciate this, because it will help the result look as good as possible. Next month, I will have the remaining moles removed, as I am very happy with the current progress. In addition, I find the doctor very trustworthy, friendly, and social. All bonus points!

Eyelid surgery
For the second time in my life, I had an eyelid correction done and I am very satisfied and happy. The procedure was completely painless and Dr. Jairath kept chatting pleasantly so I never had time to feel nervous. The recovery also went quickly and I feel reborn and ten years younger!

Piercing holes removed around my mouth. Mr Jairath is friendly, explains things clearly and takes his time. I was very nervous and he was very patient with me and not rushed, which you often experience in other clinics where it feels a bit like an assembly line. An earlobe correction is needed when an earlobe is torn or stretched, causing discomfort when wearing earrings. This may be the case with one or both earlobes. In addition to functional problems, it can also be an aesthetic problem, such as if the hole is too large or completely torn.
The procedure takes about 30 minutes per earlobe and is performed under local anesthesia. For a double-sided correction, the procedure usually takes about 60 minutes.
In most cases, earlobe correction is not reimbursed because it is considered a cosmetic procedure. For specific information on possible reimbursements, we recommend contacting your health insurance company.
After the procedure, it is important to follow the plastic surgeon’s aftercare instructions. This includes keeping the wound area clean, wearing wound strips and avoiding heavy earrings and tension on the earlobes during the recovery period. In addition, direct sunlight is not recommended until the earlobes are fully healed.
