The treatment process

Step 1: Schedule a consultation

Step 2: Comprehensive consultation with the plastic surgeon

During this consultation with the plastic surgeon, we discuss in detail:

The treatment options that may be appropriate for your situation
Possible risks or side effects
Advice on the further course of surgery

All the details of the treatment plan are discussed here so that you can make a proper consideration. This ensures that the procedure is optimal.

Step 3: Day of surgery

On the appointed date, we perform the scar correction. Here we take into account:

The type of scar and the technique chosen, such as laser, injections or surgery
General or local anesthesia or not

During surgery:

The plastic surgeon makes small incisions on both sides of the scar
He gently removes the old scar tissue
The skin is carefully sutured

Afterwards, you will receive detailed explanations about checkups and the recovery process. Our goal is the best possible cosmetic result.

Step 4: Aftercare and recovery

After the procedure, it is important to follow the plastic surgeon’s instructions. This includes:

Do not expose the scar to sunlight for the first time to prevent excessive pigmentation
No heavy physical activity, such as sports, until the scar has healed sufficiently
Avoid smoking and alcohol during the recovery process
During the first few weeks, the scar may be red, swollen or sensitive. This is normal and will gradually subside.

Step 5: Long-term aftercare

The scarring process can take up to two years. During this time, long-term aftercare is important.

I am extremely satisfied with my eyelid surgery by David Jairath. Because I had already had eyelid surgery in the past, I had a good idea of what to expect. That is exactly why this experience stood out as so positive.

I am so happy with the result of my treatment with Dr Jairath. I came for a lip correction because of scar tissue, and from the first consultation I immediately had a very pleasant and trusting feeling.

I went to Mr Jairath for eyelid surgery and I am extremely satisfied with the whole process.

Eyelid surgery

During the intake consultation with Mr David Jairath I already had a good feeling about it. He explained clearly what the procedure involved. After the intake I also received additional information by email. The procedure itself was very relaxed. He explained everything step by step during the procedure. Everything is done under local anaesthetic. We had a really nice conversation during the procedure and before you knew it the treatment was over. I received clear information on what to do after the procedure. After a week the stitches were removed. I am very satisfied with the final result.
