Temporary symptoms such as swelling or bruising may occur, but usually disappear quickly. Permanent scars also almost never occur.
Our years of expertise allow us to optimally guide recovery. This minimizes risks of infection, for example.

Recovery after eyelid surgery with us is usually smooth. For the first few days, you can expect swelling and blue discoloration around the eyes. These are normal physical reactions that disappear within a week.
After about a week, the sutures are removed. After that, you can resume your normal activities, although it will take some time before the final results are visible.
