Single-sided earlobe correction

In single-sided earlobe correction, we focus on repairing one earlobe that has been damaged, such as from an accident or wearing heavy earrings. This often happens when one earlobe is stressed more than the other, or due to uneven damage.

During the procedure, the plastic surgeon makes a small incision to correct the torn tissue. Then the skin is carefully sutured, returning the natural shape of the earlobe.

The procedure takes about 30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. After the procedure, you can go home immediately. The recovery process is short, with minimal pain and discomfort.

Double-sided earlobe correction

A double-sided earlobe correction is needed when both earlobes are torn or stretched, often from prolonged wear of heavy earrings or multiple holes. This can cause the earlobes to be uneven or prevent jewelry from being worn.

During this procedure, the plastic surgeon corrects both earlobes with small incisions, removing the old tissue. The skin is carefully sutured for a symmetrical and natural result.

Treatment process earlobe correction

Step 1: Schedule a consultation

We then perform an examination to assess the earlobe(s) up close. In addition, we listen to your wishes and expectations for the correction. Step 2: Comprehensive consultation with the plastic surgeon

During the consultation with the plastic surgeon, the details of the procedure are discussed. The plastic surgeon explains the type of damage to the earlobe(s) and possible causes.

The surgeon then discusses available treatment options, whether a single-sided or double-sided correction is possible, and which technique is most appropriate. Possible risks and complications, such as scarring or infection, are also discussed.

Step 3: Day of surgery

When not to do it?

An earlobe correction is not performed if there are certain health risks that increase the risk of complications. Ik ben ontzettend blij met het resultaat van mijn behandeling bij dr. Jairath. Ik kwam voor een lipcorrectie vanwege littekenweefsel en vanaf het eerste consult had ik direct een heel prettig en vertrouwd gevoel.

During the intake consultation with Mr. David Jairath, I already had a good feeling about it. He gave a clear explanation of what the procedure entailed. After the intake, I also received additional information by email. The procedure itself was very relaxed. He explained each step clearly as we went along. Everything is done under local anaesthesia. We had a very pleasant conversation during the procedure and before you knew it, the treatment was finished. I received clear instructions on what to do after the procedure. After a week, the stitches were removed. I am very satisfied with the end result.
