Informatie voor huisartsen en verwijzers

Mijn naam is David Jairath. Velen van u kennen mij wellicht als plastisch chirurg. Met meer dan 19 jaar ervaring, waarvan een groot deel in het Spaarne Ziekenhuis Hoofddorp en later het Spaarne Gasthuis, ben ik ook de oprichter en voormalig eigenaar van het Plastisch Cosmetisch Centrum Spaarne in Heemstede. Deze privékliniek bood niet-vergoede zorg aan cliënten.

Sinds oktober 2023 heb ik mijn werkzaamheden in het ziekenhuis beëindigd omdat de zorg daar niet meer overeenkwam met mijn visie op patiëntgerichte zorg. In mijn nieuwe praktijk kan ik zorg verlenen zoals ik denk dat het zou moeten: met een korte wachttijd voor het eerste consult en de behandeling, dezelfde arts voor alle consulten, behandelingen en nacontroles, en uiteraard excellente zorg zonder complicaties.

Kliniek het Bolwerk

In Kliniek het Bolwerk richten wij ons uitsluitend op niet-verzekerde zorg. Toch kan deze informatie relevant zijn voor u als zorgverlener.

Ziektekostenverzekeraars vergoeden steeds minder zogenaamde “cosmetische” behandelingen. Onder de niet vergoede zorg vallen:

Bovenooglidcorrecties: Hier gelden strenge voorwaarden, waardoor de meeste mensen niet in aanmerking komen voor vergoeding.
Onder-ooglidcorrecties: Deze worden nooit vergoed door de verzekering.
Cosmetisch storende naevi en andere huidafwijkingen: Als een moedervlek een benigne aspect heeft maar cosmetisch storend is, kan deze op eigen kosten worden verwijderd. Vaak zijn de kosten lager dan het eigen risico bij verzekerde zorg.
Schaamlipcorrecties: Deze vallen buiten de vergoeding door de ziektekostenverzekering.
Anti-rimpelbehandelingen: Behandelingen met fillers of botuline toxines worden niet vergoed, maar worden bij ons veilig en deskundig uitgevoerd.

Daarnaast bieden wij second-opinions, expertise en keuringen aan. Een andere reden om naar Kliniek het Bolwerk te verwijzen is de korte wachttijd voor consult en behandeling. Soms kan een eerste consult via een video-consult plaatsvinden, zodat de cliënt vanuit huis geïnformeerd kan worden.

Sinds kort ben ik ook werkzaam in een ziekenhuis in Amsterdam, waar ik verzekerde plastisch chirurgische zorg aanbied. In Amsterdam hanteren we dezelfde normen en waarden die ik belangrijk vind in de patiëntenzorg: patiëntgerichte zorg, een en dezelfde behandelaar voor de patiënt, klantvriendelijkheid en korte wachttijden.

I went to Dr. Jairath for a lower eyelid correction, something that had bothered me for years. The procedure was much easier than I expected, completely painless. Eyelid surgery

consultation, an almost painless procedure (only a brief sting from the anesthesia), and an immediate beautiful result after removing the bandages and stitches, I am more than satisfied. Dr. Jairath also closed a small hole in my cheek at no extra cost. Whenever I had questions via email or phone, I received a quick response or a call back. All in all, a very positive experience. The anesthesia was disappointing. The treatment was tolerable. I had significant post-procedure bleeding, which was caused by the blood thinners I take. I stopped taking them two days prior, but apparently, some residue remained in my system. Stopping the blood thinners earlier was not an option because I previously had a TIA, and there was a risk of it happening again. I am happy with the result and also pleased with the doctor’s kindness.
