Step 1: Schedule a consultation

Step 3: Day of surgery

On the appointed date, we perform the scar correction. Here we take into account:

The type of scar and the technique chosen, such as laser, injections or surgery
General or local anesthesia or not

During surgery:

The plastic surgeon makes small incisions on both sides of the scar
He gently removes the old scar tissue
The skin is carefully sutured

Step 4: Aftercare and recovery

After the procedure, it is important to follow the plastic surgeon’s instructions. This includes:

Do not expose the scar to sunlight for the first time to prevent excessive pigmentation
No heavy physical activity, such as sports, until the scar has healed sufficiently
Avoid smoking and alcohol during the recovery process
During the first few weeks, the scar may be red, swollen or sensitive. This is normal and will gradually subside.

Fibroma removal

After doing a lot of research, I ended up choosing Klinik Het Bolwerk. I have quite a few moles on my face that I wanted to have removed. For me, it’s very important that this is done as beautifully as possible, cosmetically speaking. The procedure was done a little over two weeks ago, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the size of the scars. I can see that the doctor used the smallest possible method to remove my moles. I really appreciate this, because it will help the result look as good as possible. Next month, I will have the remaining moles removed, as I am very happy with the current progress. In addition, I find the doctor very trustworthy, friendly, and social. All bonus points!
